Hi 👋,  I’m Whitney and my life changed forever in 2017.

This was me at my 9-5 stuck!  I was in a spot where I could no longer grow, and it was no longer a challenge, just the same old thing, EVERY single day.  Something had to change!

Pregnant with my second child, I made a promise to myself that I would quit my job after my daughter was born. However, I needed to figure out how to earn money from home first.

Google became my lifeline in this search. I knew there were other working moms out there making it work...but where were they?

Finally, in my search for ‘ways to make money from home’. I found these bloggers making over $100k a MONTH! And I only needed $2,000 a month.

I was amazed at how they were making so much money through blogging. But Me? Blogging? Writing was one of my weakest skills.

After praying about my situation, I woke up with a clear idea: start a blog for moms like me. Moms seeking legitimate ways to make money from home, shared by other moms who were successfully doing it. My problem gave birth to my solution.

I connected with work-from-home moms, interviewed them, and compiled their stories. This led to the creation of my website, 'Tried and True Mom Jobs'. Side Note: I am not tech savvy AT ALL. My site did not look like this in the beginning.

I used the SAME business model as the $100k a month bloggers, I made it my own and executed it.

I only made $5,000 my first year but I trusted the process and stuck with it. I quit my job 3 months after I had my daughter (took an extended maternity leave) and never looked back. 

Disclaimer: I do NOT recommend quitting your job to start a business until your business can sustain itself. My husband and I managed on one paycheck while I saved my earnings from my 9-5 job.

But...the VERY next year I made over $200,000 and that was life-changing for my family and I.

Fast forward to 2020, I interviewed YouTuber Nate O'Brien on my website and was blown away by how much he was earning.

He stated in JUST the month of January alone, he made $30,000 from ads!  That was all I needed to hear to get over my fears of being in front of the camera and start a YouTube channel.

I studied his channel, made it my own and I executed it. 

In the last 12 months, I’ve made over $300,000 from YouTube and hit over 100,000 subscribers. Mind Blowing!
